1. I keep checking the Bar Cam, but it’s never on. How come?

“Dave’s Pub & Grub” isn’t a normal bar that is open to the public (although if someone shows up with their own beer, we won’t turn them away, either). Dave and Big Al built the bar in a small side room on Dave’s garage (since moved and rebuilt in the main garage). We built it as a “Man Cave” at Dave’s, and a place to have friends over and hang out during the winter and not bother Dave’s family when we’re up past 4am. The bar cam may only be on once or twice a month, or it may be on once or twice a week. It all depends on when we’re down there hanging out and what we’re doing. Keep an eye on the neon on the home page. When that’s lit up, the cam’s on.

2. Why the hell are we doing a barcam on the weekend?

So someone who shall remain nameless asked why the hell we are doing a live bar cam on the weekends when everyone is at the bar. Here goes. First of all, not everyone is out at a bar on the weekends.

OK, so a lot of people are, most of the hot chicks are, but not all of them, and neither are we. We’re doing the bar cam for the people who aren’t out already. The guy that got in trouble with his girlfriend last weekend for going out too much. The single mom with no baby sitter who’s kids are in bed and she cant go out, that’s who.

The married chick who’s husband fell asleep on the couch with a beer in one hand and the remote in the other, the couple that doesn’t want to fight over who is driving and who gets to drink, now THAT’S who damn it! We’re doing this for for every man, woman, and child young adult that likes to stay up late on a Friday night and have a good (or at least not a terrible) time and have a few beers with other people, while still not having to leave the safety and comfort of their own home.

The 600 pound man that can no longer walk and would need to be airlifted to a real bar. He can hang with us, and you can too. Everyone is welcomed….as long as they don’t drink imported beer. I kid! We don’t care what kind of beer someone drinks. And the best part is, even the nerds can come. Security is tight here, nobody’s gonna wup your ass at www.DavesPubnGrub.com.

3. What the hell is a “puterfile”?

A ‘puterfile’ is a term Dave coined one night while we were live on the bar cam. It refers to someone who comes onto the site, watches the bar cam, but doesn’t enter the chat room. Kinda like a stalker or a pedophile who watches their prey from the bushes without being seen, a puterfile watches us live on the cam without actually interacting with us.
