Horse leaves man at bar, man cited
That’ll teach him for hitting the bar on a Sunday morning! The only excuse for being at a bar on Sunday morning is if you got there on Saturday night. Otherwise, you should be home just getting to bed on Sunday morning.
SOURCE – A northwestern Wyoming man received a citation for letting his horse wander in Worland, but not before he complained to town law enforcement officials about the absence of a hitching post in front of the local saloon. William Schellinger was cited by Washakie County law enforcement officers for allowing his horse to run at large in this city along the Big Horn River.
I tend to agree with the guy. I mean, it is Wyoming, shouldn’t all the buildings in that state have hitching posts for their horses? I mean, do they even have vehicles out there? I’m pretty sure they still have wooden sidewalks and outhouses. Don’t they? Ah well, even if they have made it to the 20th century by now, this guy should have figured out some way to secure his horse. I’ve seen pictures of cars that have hit large animals. Not pretty.
