Get a little Captain in ya

Earlier this year, Captain Morgan released its pre-mixed Long Island Iced Tea. This is definitely on my “Gotta Try This” list. While I stick mostly with beer, I really like Rum & Cokes with the Captain. One we get some rocks glasses for the bar, I may even try it straight over ice. Back to the LIIT, I’ve never had one before, but have always wanted to try one. I like iced tea, and everyone says it tastes just like regular tea, so I probably should try one one of these days. The main problem is that when you’re out in the bar, one of these drinks costs you $8 or more. That’s 3 or 4 beers, so I normally just stick with that. The good thing with CM’s tea is you can have th same bar-mixed taste without paying the same price you would in a bar. While it hasn’t become available yet around here, I’m asking my local liquor store if they plan on picking some up. If not, I may have to order a bottle special. If you try it, let me know what you think.
