Steven Tyler’s Pain in the Neck

Anyone who’s ever been a fan of Aerosmith knows that Steven Tyler likes to dance around on stage with his microphone stand. Whether he’s grinding his crotch against it or holding it like a guitar while he runs around the stage, it’s his main prop while he’s signing. Well, last night at a concert at the Buffalo Chip Campground in South Dakota, Tyler was up to his old antics when he fell off stage and onto a couple of fans in the front row. Apparently, he spun around, slammed the mic stand down, and stepped backwards off stage. He ended up hurting his neck, back and shoulder, and was taken to the hospital. Hopefully the dude’s all right. I mean, he’s 61 years old! I love their music, and look forward to hearing some new stuff, but let’s not put yourself in a full-body cast for it.
