GI Joe opens this Friday

So this Friday the hyped-up GI Joe movie opens. I’ve seen the trailers online and on the TV. One thing that really bugs me about the trailers is something that bugs me about a lot of the movies coming out of Hollywood lately – the way they change the story up to suit their needs. Take this clip for example. Each time you hear the Baroness (Sienna Miller) talk, she has no accent. What the hell? Besides the black leather body suit and the librarian glasses, that accent was part of what made the Baroness sexy. That’s not my only gripe with the movie I have either, but because it’s 12:49 in the morning, I’m not going to go into detail about the stupid suits the Joes wear. I don’t know if I’ll watch the movie or not. I know I’ll definitely be skipping the movie theater as I always do (last movie I saw in the theater was V for Vendetta).I’ll probably wait on this one until it’s on TV or my buddy gets it from NetFlix.
