Dislocated jaw for Griffin

As some of you may have seen or heard, Forrest Griffin lost badly Saturday night to Anderson Silva. After the fight was over, Griffin jumped up and ran from the ring with his team in tow. There was a lot of backlash about that, and the fact that he didn’t show up for the post-fight interviews. Well, now we know the reason – he dislocated his jaw in the fight. He went to the hospital to be checked out for pain in his jaw and not being able to hear out of one ear. It was later confirmed his jaw was dislocated. I was really hoping for a good fight out of Forrest. He’s one of my favorite fighters, and thought he might be able to give Silva a run for his money. Unfortunately, Silva did the same to him that he does to most of his opponents – made him look like an amateur.
