Brian Bowles wins WEC Bantamweight title

Brian Bowles (8-0) knocked out Miguel Angel Torres (36-2) in the first round to win the WEC Bantamweight title Sunday night. Bowles took a few hard strikes from Torres before catching him with a right that floored the former champ. He then jumped on him and continued connecting with rights and lefts before catching Torres flush and sending him to la-la land. This is the first time in 17 fights Torres has lost, and with the win Bowles remains undefeated.
