Make a Whiskey Sour
A few years ago, my brother turned me on to whiskey sours when we were out at a bar with some friends. I’d been wanting to try something different, and beer just wasn’t on my menu for the night. He came back with a whiskey sour, so I figured I’d give it a try. I’m glad I did. While I haven’t found a bartender who makes one as good as those first few were, I still enjoy them on occasion. Here’s what you’ll need, along with the video. Enjoy!
- ice
- measuring jigger
- 2 oz whiskey
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar
- Maraschino cherry
- cocktail shaker
- rocks glass
