Home Plate Collision

When I was a young lad, I, like many other young lads, played Little League baseball. One of my fondest memories was barreling over the catcher at home plate. My coach told me if I hit the ball, don’t stop running. We were up big, so let them tag me out. What ever. We;re a bunch of 9-12 year olds, and most of us weren’t that good at anything yet, much less playing an organized sport. So, needless to say, I hit the ball and made it all the way to home plate where I see the catcher standing there in my way. Well, coach said don’t stop running, so I didn’t. And knocked the catcher into the back rest. It probably didn’t help him any that even at 12 years old I was bigger than everyone else on the field. I was reminded of this flashback when I was this video over on 40 oz. The best line in this video is after the collision: “That happened yesterday, too.” WTF?

Not a whole lot to tell. I like to fish, hunt, camp, drink beer, chase women, and bitch about my vehicles. Well, that's a lie. I don't like to bitch about them, but I do it so much, you'd think I did.
