Honey Moon beer
So last night I decided to try the Honey Moon Summer Ale from the Blue Moon Brewing company. I’ve had the Blue Moon Belgian Wheat Ale before, and really liked it, so I figured I’d give their summer ale a try. It was good right from the get go. Normally when I drink beer, the first one has a certain bite to it that only goes away when I’m just about done with my first beer. This honey moon didn’t have that bite, and was smooth from the first sip to the last gulp. I’ll definitely be revisiting this beer again soon.
Any of you who stopped by the bar cam were hopefully entertained. We know we need to do something about the microphone, so bear with us. I watched the tape of the show today and the sound is horrible. Definitely something we’re working on. We actually ave quite a few things left to do out there, but taking care of the sound is one of our top priorities. On the bright side, you were given the opportunity to see me get right shit-faced last night – something that hardly ever happens any more. I guess I shouldn’t drink on an empty stomach. I only had a 6-pack in me, plus a shot of Captain Morgan and a rum & coke. That’s normally just enough to get me started, but last night it got me right sideways. Here’s a few pics from after the cam. We ran down to a local bar once we shut the cam off. Why? Because I’m an idiot and decided that instead of drinking the beer I had there I wanted to go pay $3 for one at a bar I didn’t really care for. Ah well, it was fun. Pictures after the links.
