Progress
The bar is coming along nicely. We have a layer of clear coat down on top of the new bar, got some lights changed around, more paint up on the walls, and even got our Coors Light guy up on the wall at the end of the bar. Still have a long way to go, but we’re getting closer every day. Our next project for the bar will be to finish the actual bar up so we don’t need to worry about that any more. We need to add a few more supports underneath the bar, add some trim to the back side (bartender’s side) of the bar so it matches the rest of the bar, do some trim painting behind the bar, and a more painting. The painting is what’s going to take the longest, because when it was a garage, there was no need to have the walls painted. Now that it’s the bar, we’re painting the walls and the ceiling, plus all the nooks and crannies in between (see pics for details). We really enjoy his type of work, but damn it will be nice once it’s all finished to be able to just go out there, crack a beer, and relax with some friends – online or off.
