So, after putting it off until I couldn’t wait any longer, I finally got a haircut today. Went from a long-haired sasquatch-looking MF to a clean-cut, half-way respectful looking MF. I stopped at a couple of different places, but, being Sunday, they were both closed. Which really kind of pissed me off, because I really didn’t wanna drive all the way over to the mall on a Sunday afternoon when there were so many other things I’d rather be doing – like drinking beer and watching the race. (Although I’m actually glad I missed it because the only other guy I hate seeing win more than Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch is Jimmie Johnson.) Anyway, being disgruntled and a little bit pissed off, I head over to the mall and start the long walk to the hair salon. (What ever happened to barbers?) I get there, still rather irritated to be in the mall, when I behold a vision of beauty. As I walked into the salon, what greeted me was a lovely, smiling gift from Heaven above. She was quite possibly the most beautiful woman I’d seen (in person) in a long, long time. Dark hair, tanned skin, and beautiful, dark brown eyes. Some of you who know me know I’m a sucker for brown eyed girls, especially the dark, deep brown. Now, I wish I could sit here and tell you I was Don Juan and while she cut my hair, I was able to impress her with my intelligence and sense of humor and walked out of there with her phone number. I REALLY wish I could tell you that. Alas, I bumbled through some general conversation, cracked a coupe of corny joked which barely aroused a half-hearted “heh” from her, paid, and left.
