Doritos commercial best of Super Bowl

I’m sure by now you’ve all seen this video, but I gotta share it here again. To me, this was the best commercial to air Sunday during the Super Bowl.

    Boo! BANG!!

I love dumb-asses. They’re so entertaining. Like this guy out of Wisconsin who decided to dress up like a burglar and scare his mom. Turns out, momma was packing.

SOURCEThe man said he pretended to rob his mother behind their house in the 3700 block of N. 13th St. as she returned from shopping about 9 p.m., according to a statement from the police department.

His mother drew a .357-caliber revolver and fired several shots, hitting her son at least twice, the statement says.

The man’s injuries are serious but not expected to be life-threatening, (Sgt. Mark) Stanmeyer said.

Serves the guy right. I know there have been a few times I’ve accidentally scared the hell out of my mom, and I felt bad about it. This guy purposely decides to give his mom a heart attack and gets two slugs in his body for his efforts. Let this be a lesson to all you kiddies out there who have plans of pranking your parents – make sure they aren’t carrying a loaded weapon.

    WHO DAT?!

The New Orleans Saints have won Super Bowl XLIV 31-17. Drew Brees completed a Super Bowl tying record 32 of 39 passes for 288 yards and 2 touchdowns. The second TD gave the Saints a 22-17 lead when TE Jeremy Shockey caught a 2 yard pass with 5:32 left in the 4th quarter. The Saints then extended their lead to 24-17 when the two-point conversion to Lance Moore was at first called incomplete, then overturned when they challenged it. Saints DB Tracy Porter intercepted Peyton Manning with 3:12 left in the game and returned it 74 yards for a touchdown giving the Saints a 31-17 lead. Manning lead the Colts down the field at the end of the game, hoping for a quick score then an onside kick to get the game tied, but the Saints’ defense held strong and the game ended with Brees kneeling down as the clock ran out.

The Saints trailed at half-time 10-6, but turned the momentum at the start of the second half when they opened the 3rd quarter by recovering an onside kick. They then took the ball down the field and scored on a Brees to Pierre Thomas 16 yard screen pass to go up 13-10. The Colts scored on their next possession to take the lead 17-13, but wouldn’t score again. Although the Saints only scored 6 points in the second half, they controlled the ball for most of the quarter, limiting Peyton Manning and the Colts to only 6 plays the entire quarter.

Saints QB Drew Brees was named the game’s MVP.

All poor Quagmire wanted to do was meet Lauren Conrad. How can you hate a guy for that?
